1000 Islands Addiction Rehab is located in the Frontenac Arch Biosphere which gives us many options for healthy off site activities. Tourists from all over the world come here to the famous 1000 Islands to experience it’s natural beauty and our clients can too.
There are many golf courses in the area where our clients are able to participate in this sport. Golf provides good exercise and the courses in the 1000 Islands are set against beautiful natural backdrops. *
The 1000 Islands region is part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere and is known for it’s iconic hiking locations. Places such as Landon Bay Lookout and Rock Dunder are just two examples of easy hikes with a spectacular view at the end. Hiking is one of the healthier activities for improving focus.
If you’ve never fished before, now is the time to try right from the docks on site. We also offer guided fishing excursions for our clients with local fishing experts who know where the big ones are. *
Cycling & Walking
The world famous Waterfront Trail travels right in front of our location on the 1000 Islands Parkway. Clients can walk or use one of the many bikes (helmets supplied) on this trail. The scenery and views of the St. Lawrence River are breathtaking. *
The 1000 Islands region has many winter trails that are perfect for snowshoeing. Every year we hope for lots of snow so that we can enjoy this winter wonderland. *
